Below are the terms and conditions of booking a dive course or experience package with Saltwater Life (SWL). By making a booking you agree to these terms and conditions.
Prior to the commencement of a course or experience you will be asked to complete a standard medical form and statement of risk and liability release forms.
A diving course or experience package is considered booked upon receipt of the full payment from the customer by SWL. Payments can be made via bank transfer, details of which will be given following the completion of a booking form.
SWL ask for a 30% deposit to secure a place and then ask the balance to be paid 5 weeks prior to the commencement of the course or experience package.
Cancellation and Charges
Cancellation by SWL
SWL reserves the right to modify, re-schedule or cancel a course or experience package due to unforeseen circumstances or unsuitable weather conditions. SWL will endeavour to notify customers with as much notice as is reasonable possible. In the event of a cancellation the customer will be offered a future date or a full refund will be made.
Cancellation by the Customer
In the event of a customer cancellation prior to the commencement of a course and/or experience package, SWL will endeavour to fill their space and a refund will be issued if a replacement is found. If the booking cannot be re-sold and expenses will be incurred by SWL then the full cost of the course / experience package will apply. No refunds will be given if courses or experiences are not completed.
Any customer who fails to turn up at the specified meeting place or is significantly late will forfeit their trip and be liable for the full cost.
SWL advises customers that independent dive insurance / travel insurance (where applicable) should be sorted to cover any unforeseen issues.
SWL does not accept responsibility for customer’s personal possessions or valuables brought along to courses or experience packages. SWL recommends that unless personal property is intended for use by the customer then it should not be brought on the course / experience package.
